Kankanman

Kankanman is a superhero created by Sergio Hira. He hired me to design 2 versions of the character. The first version was a military outfit design and the second was the superhero design. My client provided a document describing each character and a set reference images. I provided 3 raw designs from each character. After choosing one, my client and I met via skype and tuned the design in real time. After that, I made a detailed lineart of the designs for my client’s approval. Finally, I rendered the characters and placed them on a background I designed to enhance the volume and visual impact.
